SPRING SEASON DATES:
The North Bothell Little League (NBLL) Spring Season starts the last week of February and ends the first or second weekend of June.

GENERAL REGISTRATION DETAILS:
Priority Registration, guaranteed roster spot on a team, for the Spring Season opens Nov. 1st and closes the first or second Sunday of January.  A Waitlist will be established for registrations received after the Priority Registration deadline

NOTE:  If your player is between the League Ages of 4 - 7 years old you may play in any league of your choice, NO waivers are required.  If you have older siblings they can follow as well with NO waiver requirements.

Players 8 years old and up, with no younger siblings, will need to play in the league where you LIVE or go to SCHOOL

Registration Note:
***When registering for Spring NBLL season or any of our programs, you do not need to upload any residence or school documents, as long as all other mandatory fields are acknowledge you can go to the next screen.  Those documents will only be need prior to the All Star season.


SCHOLARSHIPS
Yes, we offer scholarships, please visit our Scholarships page to fill out an application to be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee.


EQUIPMENT & UNIFORMS:
NBLL supplies team equipment bags that include bats, batting helmets, catchers gear, catchers mitt, baseballs or softballs, and a 1st aid kit.  NBLL will also supply jerseys and hats (baseball only) for all players.
Players will need to supply the following: 
NOTE:  Players can use their own equipment instead of NBLL equipment if they wish, but please check out the Little League Bat Rules prior to purchasing a bat
1) Bat Bag
2) Baseball or Softball Glove
3) Softball Defensive Mask
4) Uniform Pants, Belt, Socks (color is a team choice - wait on purchasing till you hear from your coach)
5) Cleats (NO metal cleats) and/or Turf shoes.

GENERAL DIVISION ASSESSMENTS - TEAM FORMATION DETAILS:
Assessments for Baseball & Softball Majors & AAA will occur the last weekend of January and the first weekend of February.  Player Drafts by the Head Coaches will occur after each divisions assessment weekend.  Buddy requests in these divisions are NOT guaranteed.
Assessments for Baseball & Softball AA will occur the last weekend of January and the first weekend of February.  Teams will be formed by the Division Coordinator, utilizing the coaches assessments and balancing the teams to the best of their ability and while not guaranteed, honoring as many buddy requests as possible submitted at registration.
No Assessments will be held for "A" Division, Tee Ball or Challenger.  Teams will be formed by the Division Coordinator honoring as many buddy requests as possible submitted at registration.
Assessments may not be held for Baseball and Softball Juniors and Intermediates (dependent on how many players register).  Teams will be formed with the number of players that register.  If there are not enough NBLL players to form a team, NBLL will combine players from either NSLL, NLLL, or WLL to form a team.  Whichever league has a coach will will host the team.
All Team Rosters for all divisions will be released by the first weekend of February.


ALL LEAGUE NIGHT:
NBLL All League Night, meet your team and coaches, will be held prior to going out on NSD mid-winter break.


SPRING SEASON PRACTICE SCHEDULE
Batting Cages start the Last week of February for Baseball and Softball teams (NO cages for Tee Ball or Challenger).  Batting Cages will be 1x per week till the week prior to going out on Spring Break.

Field Practices will start on March 1st.  Depending on what level your player is playing, teams will practice 1, 2 or 3x per week prior to games starting.  Once Games start, teams will practice 1 or 2x per week, again defendant on the division

Challenger Practices will start in early April

NOTE: There is limited Turf and limited fields with Lights.  Coaches will pick their practice slots and batting cages based on seniority, starting from our highest level team down to Tee Ball.  Coaches initial practice picks is to ensure that all teams have at least one practice on turf or at least one practice on a field with lights, in order to spread out the field availability fairly to all teams.  Coaches will be required to pick one early slot (5:30pm) and one late slot (7pm) and only one practice can be on Turf.  Once the practice selections are complete, coaches have the option to request a different practice slot based on what is available. 


GAME SCHEDULES

Games will start the 3rd weekend of March.  Game Schedules for all teams will be posted to your GAME CHANGER APP 10 days prior to the Leagues first games.  Teams will have 1 or 2 games per week depending on the division your player(s) is playing in.

Please Note:
If necessary, Softball teams will inter-league with our neighboring D8 leagues (Northshore LL, North Lake LL and Woodinville LL) to fulfill a healthy game schedule

Baseball Majors & AAA teams will inter-league a hand full of games each season with either Northshore LL, North Lake LL or Woodinville LL (the league that NBLL inter-leagues with rotates each season)

Baseball & Softball Teenage Division Game Schedule will include games v. other District 8 teams and possibly neighboring district teams.  Teams in this division will travel to Seattle for Games.

Challenger Games will start after Spring Break v. other District 8 teams.

There are NO Games or Practices during Spring Break, including each weekend of break OR Memorial Day weekend.


TOURNAMENTS & JAMBOREES
Baseball & Softball Majors & AAA will have (2) double elimination division tournaments.

Tournament #1
NBLL Playoffs that will start and end prior to Memorial Day Weekend.

Tournament #2
Tournament of Champions (TOC) which will include our neighboring leagues, Northshore LL, North Lake LL & Woodinville LL.  This tournament will start after Memorial Day weekend and will end the first weekend of June.

Baseball & Softball AA
Teams will play an end of season double elimination tournament.   Tournament will start the first week of June and end on second weekend of June.  Baseball will be NBLL v. NBLL Teams.  Softball will be NBLL v. NSLL, NLLL & WLL

Baseball & Softball "A" Division & Tee Ball
Teams will play a 2 or 3 game Jamboree on the second Saturday of June (30 minute games)


NBLL ANNUAL FUNDRAISER DAY
This is the most important NBLL day of the season and will be held at Northshore Athletic Field (NAF) on one of the first three Saturdays in May.  The specific Saturday is dependent on the rotation with NSLL and WLL Fundraiser Days. 

This is a Family Fun Day, all Teams will have a Game, there will be activities to participate in, NBLL Merch Sales, Silent Auction, NBLL Sponsor Booths, Food Trucks and more. 

Each NBLL player is expected to raise $75 for NBLL (or you may pay for the buyout at registration).  Prizes for the team and individuals that raise the most for the league. 

All Teams will be expected to provide a Team Basket for the Silent Auction.

FUNDS RAISED will go towards keeping registrations cost as low as possible, operating costs for the next season, player scholarships, support for NBLL programs that are offered through out the year, Jr. Umpire program and much more.

ALL STARS (Spring Post-Season)
Players interested in playing All Stars must reside within or go to school within the NBLL boundaries or have an approved waiver on file or have been a member of NBLL, without a break in service, since the league age of 4, 5, 6 or 7 years old or be a sibling of such player, to be eligible to be drafted to an All Star team.

Player must play a minimum of (8) eight regular spring season games to be to be eligible to be drafted to an All Star team.  End of season tournament games DO NOT count towards the required (8) eight games.

Pursuant to Little League tournament rules, the following ages are eligible for All Star selection in the following divisions:
1) Seniors All Star Team - League Ages, 13, 14, 15 and 16yr olds
2) Juniors All Star Team - League Ages 12, 13 and 14yr olds
3) Intermediates (Baseball) - League Ages
4) Majors (may be referred to as "Little League") All Star Team - League Ages 10, 11 and 12yr olds
5) 9-11s All Star Team - League Ages 9, 10 and 11yr olds
6) 8-10s All Star Team - League Ages 8, 9, 10yr olds

All-Star Player Candidates must register via the nbll.club to be considered for a roster spot on an All-Star team.  Registration for All-Stars opens May 1st.  All-Star player candidates must be able to make a firm time commitment through July (8-10s & 9-11s) or August (Majors, Teenage) and be willing and able to bear any expenses and travel costs associated with tournament play.  The candidates will need to acknowledge and accept the commitment necessary to be an All-Star player.  Players and parents shall be informed of the potential for limited play time should they be accepted to the All-Star team as a utility player. 

All-Star players will be selected by regular season team managers, with the process being observed by league officials.
