NORTH BOTHELL LITTLE LEAGUE TEENAGE BASEBALL PROGRAM
Little League BASEBALL Age Cut off is August 31st of each year
Intermediates Baseball - Age 13
Sixth tier level of baseball where our goal for the player is to continue to build upon the fundamentals of hitting, fielding and throwing along with learning the basic rules of baseball. This level helps bridge the gap of Jr. High to High School baseball.
Hitting: Kid-pitch
Field Size: Games are played on a 70-foot base path. Pitching distance of 50ft.
Field Type: Games are played on a turf or grass/dirt field.
Practices: Field practices are 2-3 times per week, starting in March, including 6 weeks of batting cage time.
Games: There are 18-20 regular season games which start in mid-March. The game schedule is created at the District level, game locations will vary between North Seattle to Woodinville.
Ball Type: Hard ball
Team Formation: Teams are drafted by the Intermediate Managers based on the tryout results. **If NBLL does not have enough players to field a team, a co-league team will be formed with other District 8 leagues.
*Part-time Player Option: Players that play select baseball would have the option to be a part-time player on an Intermediates team
Post-Season Games: Upon completion of the Intermediates regular season, an area Tournament of Champions (TOC) will be played among the District 8 teams. Trophies are awarded for first and second place.
All Stars: All Players are highly encouraged to play the All Star Season once the regular spring season has completed.
Juniors Baseball - Age 14/*15 - 15yr olds can play Juniors with a waiver from the district.
