NORTH BOTHELL LITTLE LEAGUE TEENAGE SOFTBALL PROGRAM
Little League SOFTBALL Age Cut off is December 31st of each year
Juniors Softball - Ages 13/14
Fifth tier level league of softball where our goal for the player is to continue to build upon the fundamentals of hitting, fielding and throwing along with learning the basic rules of softball. This level helps bridge the gap of Jr. High to High School softball
Hitting: Kid-pitch
Field Size: Games are played on a 60-foot base path. Pitching distances of 43ft.
Field Type: Games are played on a turf or grass/dirt field.
Practices: Field practices are 2-3 times per week, starting in March, including 6 weeks of batting cage time.
Games: There are 16-18 regular season games which start in mid-March. The game schedule is created at the District level, game locations will vary between North Seattle to Woodinville.
Ball Type: 12 inch yellow hard softball
Team Formation: Teams are drafted by the Juniors Manager based on the tryout results. **If NBLL does not have enough players to field a team, a co-league team will be formed with other District 8 leagues.
Post-Season Games: All girls are eligible and are highly encouraged to apply and play the All Star season.
Seniors Softball - Ages 15/16
