The Challenger Division: Ages 4 - 15
The Challenger division of Little League is a program for developmentally and physically challenged youth, helping them to enjoy the full benefits of Little League participation in an athletic environment structured to their abilities.
Field Size: Games are played on a 60-foot base path
Field Type: Games are played on mostly turf fields
Practices: Field practices are generally once per week for 1 - 1.5 hour
Games: There are 7-8 games and all are played on Saturdays; No scores reported. Challenger games can be played as t-ball games, coach pitch, player pitch, or a combination of the three.
Ball Type: Soft dimple T-Ball ball
Team Formation: Teams formed at this level are based on "buddy requests", school groups and/or neighborhood groups. Team Rosters of 12-15 players.
End of Season Jamboree: The team(s) will play a game at NAF along with all Challenger Teams in the Program
