With Daylight Savings time, has the scheduled batting cage time at Northshore Sports Complex Cage time ended?
Baseball – Farm divisions and up and Softball – 89ers divisions and up have been receiving scheduled batting cage time at Northshore Sports Complex for the last two weeks. Each team has been assigned two batting cages for one hour for one day during the week. Those scheduled batting cage times will continue this week. Starting on Monday, March 22nd though, you will be on your own. Any batting cage time at Northshore Sports Complex from this day on will need to be scheduled through Dotty. This is where your coupon books come in handy. Each coupon is good for one cage for one hour. Use your coupons wisely though, as once their gone, their gone with no guarantees of more coming your way.
I’ve heard rumors that the current practice schedule will be changing. Is it true?
It is not true. We will continue with the current practice schedule through Spring Break (See attached). Yes, there will be some conflicts with games. I’m assuming that knowing your practice schedule, you can manipulate the game schedule master sheet to see if there is a game that conflicts with your practice. If there is, the game gets priority and you will need to e-mail Dotty to find another practice slot. I’ve attached the current practice schedule through Spring Break. If you have a game during your practice time, you are permitted to call Dotty and ask for a make-up practice if you’d like. Dotty, of course, will do all she can to accommodate with the fields we have.
Where can I park at Canyon Creek?
As everyone knows, Canyon Creek is a very busy place. It is preferred that everyone park in the parking lots at Canyon Creek or Skyview. Do not park on the side walks across from Canyon Creek.
Do we still need team sponsors?
NBLL is currently looking for sponsors for all teams. If you know of any business who would like to sponsor a team, give Craig Lohr a call (206-963-4080) or send him an e-mail (craig_lohr@hotmail.com) if you need some help or have any questions!!
